With high hopes for making it to the National meet, on Saturday we fell 11 points short from doing just that. The team trained so hard this year, with all seven guys coming in confident and in shape. Going into the regional meet we all thought that if we had two guys in the top ten and the next three in the top thirty we would be in. Everyone did their job and ran to the best of their ability. Unfortunately there were three teams that were better than us that day. I was able to make it on my own by getting in the top five. Coach Ponder and I will leave for Evansville, Indiana next Thursday and I will be running that Saturday. The rest of the team is taking a week off and then will start getting ready for the outdoor track season.
